1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
TaskFlow AI is an AI-powered personal productivity assistant providing:
- Task management, project tracking, and smart scheduling
- AI chat assistant and voice commands
- Habit tracking, workout planning, and daily routines
- Wellness hub (meditation, yoga, sleep tracking, stress analysis)
- Employee shift tracking with GPS verification and digital signatures
- Finance tracking and budgeting tools
- Resume builder and career matching tools
- Document management and smart notes
- Real-time team collaboration and live chat
- Third-party integrations (Google Workspace, AI providers)
- Proactive AI notifications and reminders
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials used to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.
3.3 Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].
4. Third-Party Integrations
- Google OAuth: By connecting Google services, you grant TaskFlow AI permission to access data within the scope you authorize (e.g., Gmail labels, Calendar events). You may revoke this access at any time via your Google Account Permissions.
- AI Providers: If you provide an API key for OpenAI, Google Gemini, or other providers, your prompts and data will be sent to those providers according to their respective terms of service. TaskFlow AI is not responsible for how third-party AI providers process your data.
- Clerk Authentication: Account authentication is handled by Clerk. Your use of Clerk is subject to Clerk's Terms of Service.
5. User-Generated Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain all rights to content you create, upload, or share through the Service (tasks, notes, documents, chat messages, signatures, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
5.2 Content Standards
When using collaborative features (Live Chat, Team Chat, Task Sharing), you agree not to:
- Post content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Share content that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Transmit malware, spam, or any form of automated messaging.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Share personally identifiable information of others without their consent.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Important: AI-generated responses (wellness tips, task strategies, scheduling suggestions, trade analysis) are provided for informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional advice. TaskFlow AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for medical, financial, or legal decisions.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our server infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without our written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Misuse the AI assistant or API endpoints in a way that degrades service for others.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.
8. Premium Features & Subscriptions
- Certain features may require a premium subscription ("Pro" plan).
- Subscription pricing and terms will be clearly displayed before purchase.
- Subscriptions may be managed through the platform's payment provider.
- Refund policies are governed by the applicable app store (Google Play Store, Apple App Store) terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality, is and will remain the exclusive property of TaskFlow AI. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- In no event shall TaskFlow AI, its developers, affiliates, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaskFlow AI and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third party's rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TaskFlow AI operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution is not reached within 30 days, the dispute may be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app dashboard, email, or push notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
